In Oct of 2005 a small consignment shop, Martin's Emporium opened it’s doors. My dream, my own store, no boss just me! Wow what a ride! Opening your own business is a great challenge, but with hard work and a lot of I can do it, even when all say you can’t, you can make your own business thrive. Even in these tough economic times. I could never have done it without the support of my husband, Tom, family, friends and our community. I have now finished my fourth year and as many locations! I have seen rough patches and always knew what the end result would be. In the movie “Field of Dreams” they said “If you build it they will come!” I have now reached my goal of a store that is big enough to carry everything from the day you are born, your first day of school, senior prom, first real job, Wedding day and watching your daughter walk down the aisle. We have it all. Even Guys if you work outside, go hunting, or need a tux for that special day, we have that too! We have you covered for every day of your life and every event in between. We even have vintage and antique items as well!

If you need to match an outfit we have it! I have been obsessed with jewelry since I was a little girl, and creating collections is my passion. So bring it on! We have well over 100 tiara’s to choose from and Hundreds of Necklace and earring sets to match every dress. Now let’s talk sterling silver! PICK A STONE! We carry those hard to find exotic stones, brilliant and every color under the sun. I went to Tucson in February, the world’s largest gem show, where every country in the world has items there, and I bought some more great finds. I came back with real dinosaur egg. Yes, truly different items! We have amber with bugs in it, did you know there are over 250 different colors of Amber! And many different colors of coral and Jasper's of every shade and pattern. Rough Rubies that are a brilliant shade of fuscia, sapphires- rich royal blue, and emeralds that are bright green, as the grass of Ireland. We have big, chunky and bold to small and sophisticated! We carry rings from size 1 to 17. Now that’s a big ring! We even have artist originals, items you will find nowhere else!
Bridal gowns are one of those items that we spend way too much time and money to find the perfect one! Well, that’s what the men think, anyway. We carry special order designer gowns, get your perfect dress in your size, but for those more money conscious, we carry bridal closeouts, these are new dresses from other bridal shops that cannot be ordered anymore, last season’s or before, but at a fraction of the cost, most are $100 - $300 and save even more by shopping our gently used gowns. Get the great names, without breaking the bank. Want the perfect belle of the ball gown? Looked everywhere and can’t find one less than $500. We have previously worn dresses for under $200 and new closeouts for under $300. Ladies have that perfect dress that you wore last year and your younger sister would not be caught dead wearing hand me downs, let her pick a new dress that she wants and sell yours and put some money back in your pocket. We have to think about space, you do not have room in your closet to store every prom, beauty pageant and special occasion dress, and don’t forget about all of those bridesmaids’ dresses we will NEVER wear again! 1 word RECYCLE! We wash and wear our everyday clothes why not our formals? Being fashionable does not have to cost a fortune!
